GUEST TEACHER
I am so pleased to share that in praying and preparing for F2F LIVE 2025, the Lord led me to invite Renee Bryant to be our guest speaker. Renee is the Special Projects Coordinator for Abeka, the largest publisher of Christian textbooks, located in Pensacola, Florida. There she has helped produce high school Bible materials for both traditional and homeschool customers such as, The Genesis: Creation, Fall, Flood, Babel materials for high school seniors. Dedicating over thirty years to education has developed her passion for asking, holding, and answering questions. This skill and attention to detail has directly influenced the projects she has touched. After growing up in Michigan, Renee moved to Florida to attend Pensacola Christian College. There, she met and married Gregg, and began her teaching career. These years were enriched by raising a family and serving alongside her husband at Campus Church. When she’s not in the office, you’ll find Renee reading, walking, or babysitting her three sweet grandchildren.
I am completely confident that God has providentially crossed my and Renee’s path for this time of fellowship around God’s Word. Renee and her husband Gregg were married for 25 years. In April of 2016, Gregg suffered a stroke as a result of an aortic dissection. Renee cared for him for 17 months before he was called to Heaven in September 2017. 6 years later on Jan 11, 2023, God called Renee’s oldest son, Kyle, to Heaven after experiencing a significant aortic dissection, the same issue that caused her husband’s stroke. He was a newlywed, having been married only 3 weeks prior. During the months after Gregg’s stroke, Renee learned to hold the question,“Does it matter for eternity?” She testifies, “When I faced moments that I thought would break me emotionally, physically, relationally, even spiritually, applying that question as a filter allowed me to trust God to strip away and help me let go of things that didn’t matter and focus on that which did. We have learned so much. God has lovingly cared for us as we have walked this path. Though days are hard, our loving Father has shown Himself faithful. With confidence I can say…“This is my story, this is my song, praising my Savior all the day long.”
